Ioan Cuza University of Iași
ENACTED associates research, teaching, debate and
dissemination activities in the area of European
Studies, in the framework of a network of 12
partners (8 universities and 4 NGOs) from 6
countries.
Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi (UAIC) is the
oldest and one of the most prestigious higher
education institutions in Romania. Since 1860 UAIC
has been carrying on a tradition of excellence and
innovation in the fields of education and research.
The project is implemented by the Alexandru Ioan
Cuza University of Iasi and managed by the Centre
for European Studies of (CES-UAIC), with a solid
expertise on the EU’s eastern neighbourhood and
EU’s cross-border cooperation. CES-UAIC is an
interdisciplinary department within UAIC which
focuses on developing new academic and research
programmes mainly in the field of European
Studies, and particularly with regards to the eastern
neighbourhood area.

University Stefan cel Mare Suceava (USV) is a
research and educational centre in t Romania,
providing various educational programs to more
than 9000 students. The history of this
establishment started in 1963, when the 3-year
Pedagogical Institute was founded, and was
transformed in 1990 official in university. Beginning
with 1993, USV has been involved in different
financing programs, with the European Union, has
over 81 partnerships with over 77 organizations and
universities worldwide.

Association of Institute for Euroregional Studies
(ISER) was created in January 2008 as legal entity
registered at the University of Oradea, which is
involve to reach the activity of Institute for
Euroregional Studies (ISER) created in 2005 as a
“Jean Monnet” European Centre of Excellence of the
Universities of Oradea and Debrecen by the Jean
Monnet Project.

Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) is the main
educational institution with economic profile in Moldova and
cooperates with over 150 universities world-wide. Since 1991,
striving for excellence, the ASEM takes unique initiatives to

research and entrepreneurial approach. With over 10.000 students
and 1000 academic staff, the ASEM enjoys a high prestige at
national & international levels.

Association for Ethnic and Regional Studies (ASER) - REPUBLIC OF
MOLDOVA.
Association for Ethnic and Regional Studies (ASER)
was legally registered in 2003, as a non-profit
organisation, founded by the group of professors
and researchers specialising in European integration
process of Moldova. ASER`s mission: Contribution in
keeping and development in the Republic of
Moldova of values one of the multi-cultural open
societies, which is based on the principles of
democracy, stability and good neighbourhood
cooperation between regions of the country and
beyond.

The decision to found European Studies Center
within Faculty of International Relations, Political and
Administrative Sciences of Moldova State University
was adopted by the Moldova State University Senate
in 2011. The main task of the European Studies
Center is to contribute essentially to the further
development of the European Studies in the
Republic of Moldova as an important part of the
general education process of the country and for
European integration objectives fulfillment.

NGO “Promotion of Intercultural Cooperation”
(founded in 2008) is a non-governmental, non-
profit organization based in Odessa, Ukraine,
which aims to promote international cooperation
and intercultural dialogue. The goal of PIC is to
raise awareness in different groups (youth,
students, business, journalists, state and local
authorities, academics, etc.) to the problems of
international, intercultural relations, global and
local socio-political problems.

“Quadrivium” is a scientific NGO aimed at
conducting scientific research and providing policy
recommendations. We seek to fulfill the following
mission: interdisciplinary study of significant
achievements of social and cultural, political and
legal, moral and valuable experience in the Western
countries for further spreading and implementation
of these imperatives into Ukrainian society.

Chernivtsi University is an individual full member of
the European University Association from 2009, and
has been accepted to become a member of the
Magna Charta Universitatum. ChNU has over 128
bilateral agreements with foreign partner institutions
from 25 countries all over the world. The University
open to new initiatives for international cooperation.
The University is involved in a number of
international education and research projects, as well
as into student, research and educational personnel
mobility programs.

Belarusian State University (BSU) is one of the main
and oldest educational establishments in Belarus,
founded in 1921. Nowadays BSU incorporates
twenty faculties, also research institutes, and
research centers. The majority of university projects
are funded by international funds and institutions:
the European Union tools (Erasmus Mundus,
Tempus, Jean Monnet, TAIEX, Youth in Action; Latvia,
Lithuania and Belarus Cross-border Cooperation
Programmes), UNESCO, Visegrad Fund, Council of
Europe, IFESCCO.

Founded in 1912, the University of Debrecen is one
of Hungary’s five elite-research universities, offering
the widest choice of majors in the country for over
29,000 students, including 3,741 international
students. UD's 1500 lecturers of 15 faculties
endeavour to live up to the elite university status and
to provide high quality education. The goal is to train
professionals possessing all necessary skills and
knowledge to enter the regional, national, or
international labour market with a competitive
degree.

Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) (in Polish:
Szkoła Główna Handlowa w Warszawie) is the
oldest university of economics in Poland and one
of the leading universities of economics in Europe.
SGH was founded in 1906 as the first public
university of economics and management in
Poland. It maintains close links with business
community that facilitate conducting research
projects. SGH is ranked Poland’s top research
university in economic sciences, with the grade of
excellency awarded by Ministry of Science and
Higher Education.
